ADMISSION CRITERION

Age restrictions as on 1st April of the year of joining are as follows:

The School advertises for vacant seats.
INQUIRY
Parents inquire and the query is recorded, along with submission a copy of proof of Date of Birth is necessary to determine if the child can be registered for an aptitude/proficiency assessment as per the age criterion set by the New Education Policy.
PROCEDURE FOR REGISTRATION
Registrations open only classes I & II each year. However if there are any vacancies in the lower secondary (middle school), candidates who have inquired may be invited by the school for the aptitude/proficiency assessment depending on the time of the year and the stage of progress of the curriculum. The intake is 25 fee paying students per section and the academic policy has been structured to support the intake.

The Registration for assessment will be completed with
  1. Latest passport size photograph of the candidate.
  2. Photocopy of the Birth Certificate/Aadhar/Passport.
  3. Half yearly/Yearly mark sheet from the current school.
After verification of the above documents, the school admission office will intimate the parents the date for assessment.

The Child must appear in school for the interaction and assessment that follows meritorions procedure for the Aptitude/Proficiency assessment.

Registration for the aptitude/proficiency assessment of the child is not a guarantee of the child’s admission.
ADMISSION FORM
Admission form will only be given to the parents once their ward has been selected in the Aptitude/Proficiency assessment on the basis of merit. The Admission Form must be completed within a stipulated date for the final interaction of Parents and child and to complete the admission procedure.

A letter confirming the admission will be given post the parent interaction. Post confirmation the parents are to deposit the requisite school fee with the School Accounts Office.

Note
  1. The admission procedure for every academic session commences from the month of January of the previous session.
  2. Till the submission of the transfer certificate, admission will be considered as provisional.

  • Candidates from a school affiliated with CISCE/CBSE or equivalent board of examination with English as a medium of instruction.
  • Class VIII pass TC is a must for admission to Class IX.
  • Aptitude test will be conducted for English, Hindi, Math, Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), Social Studies (History/Civics & Geography).

2 Admission Criteria
  • Candidates from a school affiliated with CISCE/CBSE or equivalent board of examination with English as a medium of instruction, but not from NIOS
  • Cleared Class X and age as per age criterion set by NEP (16 years old at the time of admission)
  • There shouldn’t be any gap year i.e. candidate has completed his/her Class X in the same year.
  • Aptitude test will be conducted for English, Math, Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), General Studies (History/Civics & Geography), Economics, Commerce, Computer Science (depending upon the stream opted and subjects in Class X)
  • Minimum of 85% in Class X result.
  • For Science stream, marks in math and science to be 85% and above.
  • Students from non – ICSE board of examination, will be given admission provisionally untill their admission is approved by the CISCE.
3 Aptitude test First week of April (based on pre-board result and result of aptitude test)
&
3rd week of May (after the declaration of the Board results) as per the dates set by the admission office
